Service with a smile.

Step aboard a luxury liner and you enter a make-believe world, where you are King, and your every wish, a royal command, waiting to be executed.

The seven seas host the most luxurious hotels on earth. Floating worlds of luxury and grandeur, teeming with guests who are treated like royal potentates whose every whim and fancy must be indulged. Step aboard a cruise liner and you are transported into an aura of unimaginable splendour. Belgian mirrors vie with Sheffield cutlery, nestled beside Czechoslovakian crystal and Wedgwood China, each trying to do its mite to make an already grand setting seem even more so. For the catchphrase as far as cruise lines go is 'pamper 'em silly'. And guess who always comes back for more, next year?

"It doesn't matter if it's the ultimate romantic getaway for you or just another hard earned holiday, you are lord and master (or mistress?) of all you survey."

A cruise ship is a masterpiece of shipbuilding, designed to pleasure the senses. Every little detail from the spacious oak panelled dining room to the sea facing cabin windows has been thought of to make the experience an unforgettable one. For no matter where in the world you may take a cruise, be it the Aegean Sea, the Fjords of Norway, Hawaii, Florida or the Seychelles or even in the Far East, you'll want to do it all over again some day. It doesn't matter if it's the ultimate romantic getaway for you or just another hard earned holiday, you are lord and master (or mistress?) of all you survey. If only, to rule the oceans for a week, so be it. Anchors away!

It's a beautiful sunny morning and as your room steward draws back the curtains, the sunlight streams in through your stateroom window, heralding the leisurely beginning of another day. He gives you tea in bed, accompanied, perhaps, by croissants and fresh fruit juice. If the warmth of a Mediterranean morning has already whetted your appetites, dig into the sizzling grill on the deck; a real double-decker! Or, perhaps you'll treat yourself to a full breakfast in the restaurant? Start with a relaxing Continental breakfast in bed or join the others in the dining room for your favourite fruit juice, fluffy omelettes, smooth crepes, home-made muffins, crisp bacon, and more.

When you return to your cabin after breakfast, it seems like a different room altogether. During the day, your cabin forms a comfortable sitting room, with a sofa, armchair and writing table; in the evening, your room steward pushes back the sofa into a full-size bed and unfolds a recessed second bed out of the wall to turn your cabin into a cosy bedroom. Our interior designers could learn a thing or two about intelligent space management from a cruise liner!
